Withdrawal and consumer rights

Effective 3 September 2026.

Current boundary

Purchasing is not currently open. There is therefore no live consumer contract to withdraw from on this website today. The following must be in place before distance selling to consumers is opened.

Withdrawal (FAGG)

Consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving reasons (§ 11 FAGG), unless a statutory exception applies. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right may be lost if the trader, with the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgement, starts delivery before the period ends (§ 18(1)(11) FAGG). That consent is not collected on the current closed checkout.

Model withdrawal form

When purchasing opens, a model form based on FAGG Annex I B will be provided. Billing correspondence may be sent to billing@pmcontrolworkbench.com.

Online withdrawal function

For consumer distance contracts concluded after 30 September 2026 through an online interface, Austrian law requires an online withdrawal function (§ 13a FAGG). That control is not implemented on the current closed checkout and must be designed before consumer purchases are enabled.

Statutory conformity

Where the VGG applies to digital content or digital services sold to consumers, statutory conformity and update duties cannot be waived in advance. No extra commercial guarantee is offered.

B2B

Company and larger-organisation purchases, if later offered, are intended as business transactions. Mandatory consumer withdrawal does not apply to a genuine B2B contract.
